NatMeet '98 is to be held in the first week of September, taking advantage of predictably fine weather, the wildflower season and cheaper accommodation.
On the FIRST DAY you'll check into the MX-5 motel, receive your pack and details of how EVERY event scores points towards your individual and state team trophies. You'll have time to do some final detailing of your car followed by late afternoon registration and dinner.
DAY 2 starts with breakfast in a fine restaurant overlooking the city whilst your car is appraised by independant judges at the concours. Take one of the tours around Kings' Park, the Botanical Gardens, the city, the zoo, or the casino. Grab some lunch and return to your car for photo opportunities, then a scenic drive before we finish the day with a quiz night and dinner.
DAY 3 — you'll start early with breakfast at the motel, then drive in convoy to Barbagello raceway for some laps of the circuit (at YOUR pace) then lunch, a hillclimb and motorkhana. Back to the motel to freshen up, before dinner with a view over the Swan River to the city.
DAY 4 — breakfast at the motel and an easy-for-beginners observation/navigation drive to a Swan Valley winery. After lunch we'll caravan to the motor museum, then back to the motel to get ready for the gala dinner and trophy presentation.
Day 5 — we'll have farewell breakfast, then the committees will start planning for NatMeet 2000!!
