Mazda Miata Factory Workshop Manual This is the same workshop manual used by every Mazda dealership to service your Miata. The book is generously illustrated and includes step-by-step instructions covering all maintenance areas. Also included are troubleshooting and repair procedures as well as comprehensive specifications for the Miata.

Foam Air Filter Element The foam air filter element replaces the stock paper element exactly. Like all of our foam air filter elements it provides better air-flow when compared the stock filter as the dirt accumulates. This foam filter can be re-used by washing in solvent and re- oiling with engine oil.

K&N Air Filter Element/Recharger Kit The K&N air filter element interchanges exactly with the stock paper element. It is constructed of cotton gauze material sandwiched between wire screens. By using the recharger kit the filter can be cleaned, re-oiled and re-used almost indefinitely. The K&N element provides better air flow even when it is substantially dirty then does the stock paper element when it is clean.

Oil Filter Wrench This simple tool allows you to quickly and easily remove or install the stock Mazda-brand oil filter on your Miata. It can be driven by either a 3/8" ratchet, a 17mm socket or a 17mm wrench.

Aluminium Flywheel An aluminium flywheel noticeably improves acceleration in the lower gears and makes shifts smoother by reducing the flywheel inertia by roughly half. It has a specially treated steel friction surface for long lofe. Flywheel weight is reduced from roughly 18 pounds to about 11 pounds. The ring gear is bolted in place for security. This flywheel interchanges exactly with the stock part.

Street/Strip Pressure Plate Our pressure plate is designed for high-performance street applications and for occasional drag or road racing. A stronger diaphragm spring applies substantially more holding force to the clutch disc to avoid clutch slip under load. This pressure plate interchanges exactly with the stock part, and can be used with the stock disc or our discs.

Race Pressure Plate This plate exerts very high pressure on the disc to avoid slippage and is intended only for drag and road racing applications. It is not recommended for street use due to the high pedal pressure. It interchanges exactly with the stock pressure plate.

Street/Strip Clutch Disc Designed for high-performance street applications, and for occasional drag or road racing with a stock or slightly modified engine. The strength of the Ferodo lining we use ensures a long life of smooth, trouble-free operation with engagement characteristics essentially the same as stock. This disc interchanges exactly with the stock disc and can be used with a stock pressure plate or our street/strip plate.

Street/Strip Heavy Duty Clutch Disc (description abridged) This has flat marcels to reduce flexing and twice the number of rivets attaching each piece of Ferodo lining. The result is a disc that engages quicker (requiring a bit more "technique" when starting) and releases quicker (making life easier for the transmission synchros). This disc is well suited for high output street engines and interchanges exactly with the stock disc. It can be used with either the stock pressure plate or our street/strip pressure plate.

Race Clutch Disc This consists of a steel hub riveted to a steel disc on which eight sintered copper pads are installed. Clutch engagement is very quick, but not harsh. The advantage of this disc over the street/ strip disk is its better heat dissapation and greater fatigue resistance under hard use. This disc is intended for racing only.

Clutch Throwout Bearing The original throwout bearing normally does not require replacement unless it has been abused in some way. However, any roughness felt in the bearing after it is removed is cause for replacement. Our throwout bearing is Mazda original equipment.

Transmission Front Seal, Front Gasket and Rear Seal Kit We offer this kit because experience has shown that when a transmission is removed and replaced (as when the clutch is changed), and the transmission has moderate mileage on it (for example, 10000 or more miles), there is a real possibility that the front or rear seal will leak after reinstallation, often ruining the clutch disc.

Braided Stainless Steel Brake Line Set This brake line is intended for applications where brake performance is critical. The primary benefit from this brake line set is the reduction in brake pedal travel and improved brake "feel". NOTE: the host does not have the "DOT" label required by the Department of Transportation on all brake lines sold for highway use. We do not intend them for highway use.

Ultra Red Hot Silicone Wires The best ignition wire you'll ever own! 5000 ohm resistor for street use, 1000 ohm for race use.

Adjustable HD Sway Bar Links These links interchange exactly with the stock links. The heat-treated aluminium end housings are fitted with urethane bushings to reduce the amount of flexing compared to the stock rubber-bushed links. Furthermore, these links permit setting each sway bar to a "neutral position" with the chassis at ride height to avoid "preloading" the bar. Each link set contains two links - enough for one sway bar.

High Performance Anti-Roll (Sway) Bars These bars reduce chassis roll in turns and increase your car's sensitivity to steering inputs, thereby improving your maximum cornering power. The front bar is 0.94" diameter and the rear bar is 0.62" diameter. The rear bar has 3 attachement positions which allow limited adjustment of your car's oversteer/ understeer characteristics. To further improve the handling "feel" RB includes a pair or "stoppers" for the rear bar to prevent it from sliding sideways in the bar bushings.

High Performance Coil Springs Our springs are designed for a variety of street, autocross and solo applications. They interchange exactly with the stock springs and will not come loose when the car is jacked up. The springs lower both front and rear ride height approximately 0.90" and increase the spring rates 22%.

Tokico Shock Absorbers For those willing to sacrifice a bit of ride comfort in exchange for better road holding, we offer the Tokico shock absorber line for Miatas. They interchange directly with the original shocks and are gas-filled, like the factory units.

Koni Adjustable Shock Absorbers In addition to the damping adjustments for which Koni is rightly famous, these shocks feature special "ride height" adjustments to simplify lowering or raking the chassis. They interchange directly with the original shocks and are gas-filled, like the factory units.

Nose Kit As pointed out by many Miata enthusiasts, the stock Miata nose needs some subtle, yet distinct changes to strengthen the character of the car. To acheive this we reshaped the nose, adding a stronger jaw line, a more defined mouth, and truly functional brake scoops. The result is a personalized appearance consistent with the original design. In carrying the theme one step further we also offer an optional pair of driving lights to be mounted in the mouth opening. These lights are both practical and aesthetically pleasing, recalling the old days when driving lights were the signature of a true auto enthusiast.

Lights for Nose Kit To fit lights to the nose kit, you require the basic kit first, then "Par 36" series bulbs to fit. Optionally, a panel switch to match the current switches in the car can also be fitted.

Rear Deck Covers Our streamline rear deck covers add a clean, graceful touch and eliminate the saggy appearance of the stock vinyl cover while also reducing wind buffeting. Our unique mounting design eliminates the need for any modifications to the car, there by allowing quick installation or removal. The cover is available in 1 and 3-piece models: both are identical in shape, but the 3-piece model can be stored behind the seats when not in use.
